Job Description Part A: Job Specification

Job Purpose Coordinate offshore Brownfield, Shutdown & Hook up telecom discipline representating the COMPANY, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, integrity and project objectives. Coordinate with OESS & Operation and Contractors to drive efficient Brownfields, Shutdown and Hook up Execution & Commissioning and deliver operational excellence during offshore execution phase.

Reporting and Relationships

Reports to Offshore Company Site Representative Direct reports to Onshore Telecom Brownfield & Hook up Specialist.

Internal Frequent contact with Quality Lead, HSE Lead Offshore, Completion&Commissioning Lead Offshore, BF&HU yard construction, others maintenance from operation and PMT BF&HU support from Doha. Periodic contact with the Venture Group involving others Compression EPC Projects (COMP1, 2, 8A) & Shared services team to streamline the fabrication scope.


Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

Directly involved in COMP3 project as a part of a large Compression Development Program. This major project consists of the delivery of new facilities (5 new riser platforms, 1 wellhead platforms, stalk on risers, cables and FO lines), tie-ins/modifications to 17 existing platforms. This role requires strong telecom technical experience to drive the EPC Contractor and Subcontractors to efficient offshore execution during Hook Up and Brownfiled SIMOPS including Shut Down Preparation and execution. Ensure there is permanent communication with OESS and Operation during SIMOPS brownfiels and Hook up execution. Coordinate multiple internal and external interfaces across and EPC Contractors-require effective communication, flexibility, and collaboration. Participate in the daily meeting (Safety, PTW coordination, Schedule, etc.) with contractor during offshore execution. Ensure that contractor strictly follow rules during offshore execution without compromise safety, Quality and Integrity of existing asset. Ensure that there is sufficient and balanced resources and technical expertise available to support the EPC Contractors, efficiency in resource deployment to support the Hook up & Brownfields offshore execution activities and respect of planning. Ensure there is quality, effectiveness and consistency in Brownfields & Hook up offshore execution processes, systems, procedures and work products while adhering to established offshore execution and commissioning. Position to be located in offshore, with some onshore period for training and scope preparation, in rotation 28 working days and 28 days off. Location will be between JUB and work boat following Contractor schedule.

Key Job Accountabilities

1. To adhere to all safety and quality protocols and regulations during offshore execution process.

2. To coordinate and ensure successful of Offshore Brownfield, Shutdown & Hook up execution including commissioning to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, protect existing Integrity asset, Schedule, and others, as appropriate).

3. To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the Brownfields & Hookup execution, Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.

4. To Check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering, Brownfields, Hook up Team Contractor.

5. To Review problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any.

6. To liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all subjects, Mechanical completion, Pre- commissioning and Commissioning to ensure the Contractors/Subcontractors progress follow up and reporting.

7. To supervise PTW meeting with OESS and contractor, coordinate with all Host to deliver PTW to contractor strictly following Methods statements and JSA approved.

8. To report all concerns regarding your discipline if not aligned with Rules to your line management.

9. To improve safety culture during offshore execution and on Marine Unit (JUB, Work Boat, follow and close all safety action under his responsibility perimeter.

10. To participate to REX and Lessons Learned for the Company.


Qualifications Minimum qualification(s) required : High national diploma

Knowledge and/or Experience

8 years of experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry.

Technical and Business Skills

Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy offshore execution construction companies. Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, Brownfield Execution & Commissioning and Hook up, as applicable to the project scope. Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, operations as applicable to a project scope. Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities. Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
