System Completion Lead

Job Purpose

* The Completion & Handover Lead is responsible for the safe and certified transfer of systems from Construction to Commissioning and from Commissioning to Start-up and OES for his assigned area. Ensure that all tasks are complete and workable as per project and design specifications, following the commissioning sequence and priorities. Providing leadership and push-pull engagement between EPC, CTR, and CPY to successfully deliver within project timelines.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

* Review and comment on EPC contractor deliverables associated with completion and punch list documents related to construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning, making sure they follow the commissioning and start-up sequence and are delivered in due time.

* Maintain a constructive working relationship with the EPC contractor to ensure safe and flawless execution and delivery of the completion system requirements related to construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning works and activities in compliance with the contract requirements.

* Maintain a constructive working relationship with all stakeholders to ensure safe and flawless execution, avoiding conflicts and changes in work.

* Maintain a constructive internal working relationship to ensure safe and flawless execution, avoiding conflicts and changes in work.

* Scope dimension: 1 Area (utility, process, inlet facilities/offsite or off-plot area), more than 1.5 million check sheets, more than 5000 sub-systems, more than 100K punch items.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience

* Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience with large projects in construction-related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the oil & gas industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles or oversight of service/vendor personnel.

* Strong leadership skills, experience coordinating with multidiscipline teams and EPC contractors, and working closely with construction, quality, and commissioning.

* Familiar and conversant with systemization, system completion database, PCC procedures, and punch list database, including SIMOPS.

* Experience working in large-scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurfaces, etc.

* Knowledge in compliance with contract requirements, including codes and standards and contract technical specification compliance.

Technical and Business Skills

* Multidisciplinary technical background in the oil & gas industry.

* Good understanding of construction, commissioning, start-up & operation phases.

* Good teamwork and facilitation skills.

* Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

* Capability to take on a workload and manage priorities.
