SHES Specialist (Marine Environmental)

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Sciences ,Safety, Health, Environment, Security, or Engineering

Knowledge and/or Experience

* 8 years' experience in SHES in Oil & Gas Industry.

* Experience with Oil & Gas Companies, EPC contractors, sub- contractors, vendors or service companies involved in the oil and gas industry.

* Strong knowledge of marine environmental management (dredging, coastal works, offshore installation)

* Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes in the Middle East (Qatar preferred)

* Experience with EIA studies, environmental monitoring programs, and compliance audits

* Knowledge of international standards and guidelines (e.g. IFC, ISO 14001, MARPOL)

* Experience in contractor supervision and offshore project execution

* Strong understanding of marine ecosystems and environmental protection measures

* Knowledge of SHES management systems and regulatory frameworks

* Analytical and risk assessment capabilities

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

* Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments

* Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
