JOB DESCRIPTION
Head of Installation (CSR)
Job Purpose
* Project Management Team (PMT) member responsible for execution of various fixed facilities Transportation and Installation (T&I) operations.
Reporting and Relationships
* Reports to Construction & Installation Division Manager
* Direct reports: None
Internal
* Frequent contact with various project teams and departments (Marine, Lifting, Operations)
External
* Frequent contact with EPC Contractor/subcontractors, MWS, Classification Society and project stakeholders at site.
Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
* Supervise EPC Contractor activities related to vessels and equipment preparation, inspection, testing approval and mobilization for loadout, seafastening, transportation, mooring and installation.
* NFW jackets fabricated in Qatar, loaded out and transported to installation site by means of cargo barges, installed by heavy lift operation in green field. Pile driving and drilling required.

1. Ensure marine operations are executed safely and in compliance with contract agreement, industry standards and best practices.
2. Liaise with Vessel Management Team (VMT) on the status, ongoing and planned activities, highlighting issues and recommending mitigations.
3. Contribute to T&I engineering on procedure development, constructability reviews and risk assessment.
4. Ensure communication and alignment across supporting departments for efficient offshore operations execution.
5. Participate in project execution planning to ensure delivery in accordance with Contract milestones.
6. Consolidate T&I deliverables review to assure compliance with Company specifications and standards.
7. Coordinate with offshore team for timely reporting of work performed to ensure that scope is completed as per Contract.
8. Facilitate readiness reviews to ensure timely vessels mobilization.
9. Report and follow up on incidents to ensure lessons learnt are accurately recorded and presented for future implementation.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or Engineering
Knowledge and/or Experience
* 10 years of experience in offshore construction as methods and field engineer/CSR or similar role, on transportation and installation of fixed platforms including heavy lifting operations (alternatively, pipelines, subsea and floating facilities). Including 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
Technical and Business Skills
* Good communication and interpersonal relationships, coordination and interfacing skills.
