Engineering Lead (Electrical - Power Supply)

Job Purpose

* Responsible for overseeing Electrical Engineering activities in Onshore Project, ensuring all technical requirements such as project specifications, data sheets, etc. are in full compliance with project requirements, standardised processes, and are delivered to the highest technical quality standards.

Qualifications

* Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

Knowledge and/or Experience

* 8 years experience in Electrical Engineering roles, including 4 years in the Oil & Gas Industry, and including 1 year's experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/subcontractors/service/vendor personnel.

* Preferable experience in a major LNG Project.

* Broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, onshore LNG facilities and utility systems design, construction and operations.

* Requires demonstrated broad Electrical equipment and systems experience (HV/MV/LV electrical systems design, transformers, switchgear, power management systems, electrical system controls for reactive and active power sharing, power distribution control, large Motors, 40MW+) and familiarity with relevant manufacturing processes and relevant industry codes.

* High voltage and large-scale onshore power design requirements.

Technical and Business Skills

* Strong organizational, planning and coordination skills.

* Strong technical, prioritization and management skills.

* Good communication, influencing and interface skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, etc.
