Commissioning Lead (Preservation)


Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience

* 8 years' experience with large project in Oil and Gas industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles or oversight of service/vendor personnel.

* Expert in reading P&IDs, Datasheets, General Arrangement drawings and procedures.

* Knowledge in compliance with contract requirements including codes and standards, and contract technical specification compliance.

* Experience with vendors operating in the LNG industry, such as compressors, power generation, control systems, topsides, etc.

* Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.

* Knowledge in projects execution, engineering, operations, pre-commissioning, commissioning and systems completion.

* Experience in corrosion, chemicals, materials, mechanical, or related discipline in the oil and gas industry

* Familiar with appropriate works related to preservation including, but not limited to, checklists and hydrotest, lifting, lay-up and load out, inspection test plans, chemical handling, materials and plant inspection, corrosion/integrity management, quality, welding procedures and inspections.

* Experiences for handling EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors.

* Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of Industry standards.

* Milestone and schedule orientated.

* Interpersonal skills, able to work in a team.

* Capable of decision making with consultation to establish mutual direction

* Experience in offshore environment is a plus.

Technical and Business Skills

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a Project Management Team.

* Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.

* Ability to communicate with Contractor's team and obtain required information as requested.

* Experienced with Interface coordination and support activities and documentation.
