Job Purpose

* The Hook-Up and Commissioning Lead (ICSS) shall provide oversight and direction to the project's main contractor, sub-contractors and vendors, during the offshore hook-up and commissioning stages. Effectively collaborates and interfaces with the HUC team, facilities team, EPC contractor and operations personnel. Providing technical guidance and expertise on ICSS principles, codes, standards and coverage for EPC workshops, inspections and site testing. Support the change management process for HUC execution strategies. Supervise the review and approval of contractor procedures, ensuring accurate documentation of redlines throughout construction, hook-up, pre- commissioning, and commissioning phases. Validate the optimization of project delivery, ensuring readiness for asset handover to the OESS team.

* Reports to Head of Construction (CP6S Hook-Up).

* Direct reports: None.

Internal

* Frequent contact with all disciplines within the Project teams.

* Periodic contact with Engineering, OES and others.

External

* Frequent contact with EPC Contractor, associated Vendors and Subcontractors.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

* Function as the Commissioning Lead (ICSS) for the design, risk-based

evaluation of technical issues, ensuring detailed design deliverables are

compliant with project requirements and EPC contract while meeting

required quality expectations.

* Supervise and coordinate the delivery of completions deliverables in

accordance with project requirements from EPC contractor.

* Function as the Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) Hook-Up and

Commissioning expert providing oversight and review of project

documentation.

* Conduct analysis of technical proposals, proposed deviations, assess

exceptions and redlines to ensure compliance with policies and

procedures and the design intent.

* Act as HUC focal point at discipline site testing, to verify they comply with

project deliverables and commissioning requirements.

Key Job Accountabilities

1. Support EPC PMT by reviewing critical documents and reports generated by the main sub-

contractor. Attend workshops/review meetings when requested.

2. Analyse technical proposals and proposed deviations, assess exceptions and new

technologies to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

3. Apply lessons learned from previous projects and share new ones with other EPCs.

4. Support the qualification of new suppliers proposed for the project, suppliers that are not on

the approved vendor's list.

5. Assesses Contractor's manpower loading, providing timely recommendations to project team

and be available to backfill needs as required.

6. Support the project team to stay on schedule to meet all critical milestones (long lead item

(LLI) procurement, engineered equipment procurement; required on site (ROS) dates, etc);

develops and stewards recovery plans to address any schedule delays.

7. Witnesses Contractors scope of work and sign off test and check sheets as per project

requirements.

8. Verify that the EPC Contractor's reports are accurate with regards to progress reporting.

9. Cooperate with review teams and take part in quality audit activities throughout the project.

Report findings accurately and provide a plan to address issues when required.

Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience

* 8 years experience with large-project commissioning in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.

* Knowledge and experience in discipline Hook-Up and Commissioning delivery processes and associated project phases, familiar with completions walkdowns and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.

* Experience in an Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) role for large EPC contracts, with strong Integrated Control and Safety Systems commissioning/technical skills.

* Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.

* Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.

* Expert in reading P&IDs, Datasheets, General Arrangement drawings and procedures.

* Knowledge in projects execution, engineering, operations, pre- commissioning, commissioning and systems completion.

* Knowledge in compliance with contract requirements including codes and standards, and contract technical specification compliance.

* Experience with vendors operating in the LNG industry, such as compressors, power generation, control systems, topsides, etc.

* Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.

* Experience in start-up support to Operation.
