Job Specification
Job Purpose * Responsible for implementing the project quality management program and ensuring the effective implementation of EPC Contractor's quality management system with regards to Procurement Quality for NFPS Compression COMP4 project.
Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
* The role will require excellent self organization skills with interactions across diverse organizations at global reach, including business trips as and when required
* Working under pressure, but maintain positive and constructive mindset Complete multiple tasks, but not to jeopardise prioritization of activities versus criticality and integrity
* Ensure there is quality, effectiveness and consistency in Procurement Quality processes, systems, procedures and work products.
* Manages the resolution of problems in more demanding and less familiar situations using precedent and own acquired knowledge.
* Ensure all activities undertaken comply with anti - trust and competition laws and the Company firewall policies and procedures.
Key Job Accountabilities
1. Implement the Project Quality Plan and provide oversight of Contractor's Project Quality Management System and procedures to ensure that all purchased material and equipment are compliant with project specifications
2. Implement the Procurement Quality Surveillance Program to confirm that procurement activities performed by the EPC Contractor are adequate and effective as part of the overall risk management program
3. Administer the provision of inspection resources using approved Third Party Inspection Services (TPSIS) & Site Inspection Services (SIS) Call-Off frame Agreements
4. Close monitor and assess the TPSIS & SIS inspectors performances, and implement increase PMT flexibility and availability, by providing more intensive presence at key equipment manufacturers/vendors shops where criticality has determined past problems or weaknesses
5. Implement Deficiency & NCR Management processes to ensure that deficiencies and non- conformances are identified, recorded, investigated and resolved to maintain compliance with project requirements
6. Implement Quality Reporting process to monitor quality performance; and to communicate and report on procurement quality performance, issues and risks, and developing trends to Head of Quality
7. Actively participate in Project Quality Audit Program to confirm that procurement activities are conducted in accordance with agreed plans and procedures, including periodic assessments of Contractor's purchasing and subcontracting processes
8. Conduct other quality related tasks as directed by Head of Quality
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or Engineering
* Additional quality, welding or NDE inspection related qualifications
Knowledge and/or Experience
* 8 years' experience in Quality in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
* Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.
* Knowledge of Industry standards
Technical and Business Skills
* Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
* Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to influence decisions using presentation, negotiation and facilitation skills
* Ability to manage development and implementation of Quality Management Systems adapted to Oil & Gas industry
* Ability to interact with project management team and Contractors confidently
Requires strong analytical, organisational and planning skills
