Project Engineering Division Manager



Job Purpose

Under the direction of the Offshore Project Manager, coordinates various Project Engineering scopes of work which are required to ensure the completion of the Offshore Project in line with the Field Development plan safely, to the correct level of quality and within the budget and on schedule.


Key Accountabilities

(Duties include but not limited to)

  • Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.
  • Manages effective communication and coordination between all Projects on cross Project issues.
  • Manages all Project Engineering activities for Offshore PRojects.
  • Supports Offshore Project Manager follow-up and swiftly resolve PMT SIMOPS and Interface actions with Drilling & Completion and Operations Groups.
  • Supports PM to monitor the overall project performance and KPIs.
  • Responsible for managing and close-out of cross Project Technical and Commercial issues as requested to support each Project delivery.

Technical and Business Skills

A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English

Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.

Behavioural Competencies


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or similar, however any qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience.


Knowledge and/or Experience


15+ years of experience in the Oil&Gas Industry with at least five years demonstrated senior Project Management with focus on Project Objectives timely delivery including leadership skills and management of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors

Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.


Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds

Worldwide experience with contractors in particular those involved in the construction of Offshore LNG production facilities.

Good interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT

.
