Material Requirements Planning Lead
Job Purpose Lead the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) function by organizing, guiding, and evaluating QatarEnergy LNG inventory stocking programs and material parameter settings. Drive inventory accuracy, demand alignment and end-user readiness by leveraging performance indicators that support operational reliability, and corporate objectives.
Key Job Accountabilities
Formulate and control the MRP framework, integrating it into divisional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with strategic inventory management targets.
Manage and direct the full lifecycle of the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities to ensure responsiveness to material demands and end-user requirements.
Ensure optimizing inventory forecasting and replenishment modeling to maximize material availability and reduce holding costs and stockout risks.
Interface with engineering and technical teams to efficiently update stocking parameters in line with evolving operational requirements.
Interpret and evaluate the consumption and obsolescence trends with analysis-driven data to guide corrective inventory actions and maintain optimal stock levels.
Verify and coordinate the accuracy of MM data by collaborating with MDGs to ensure reliability and timeliness of planning data.
Advise and contribute to project and expansion planning discussions to ensure MRP readiness and alignment with end users, project teams, and the Operations Expansion & Start-Up (OES) Department to support an efficient and effective handover to operations.
Ensure review and implementation of MRP processes and procedures to eliminate bottlenecks and elevate the quality of material planning support to stakeholders.
Manage and assess team capability by implementing succession planning and targeted development to secure long-term functional excellence.
Lead digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for system enhancements, automation, and data-driven solutions systems to optimize the data accuracy, streamline processes, and support evolving business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering/industrial engineering, or commercial discipline

Knowledge and/or Experience: 10 years' experience in the oil and gas industry.
Good knowledge of supplier relations and industry best practices.
Knowledge of process improvement tools and methodology.
Knowledge of material/material preservation and warehouse management operations.
