Job Description - Engineering Manager
Job Purpose
Reporting and Relationships
Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
- Manages and coordinates the engineering activities of the NFW pre-FEED and FEED ensuring design robutstness and timely issuance of deliverables.
- Major challenges of this role are maintaining constructive and close collaboration with NFS PMT, NFS Operations, Engineering contractor to ensure delivery of Engineering in accordance with project requirements.
Financial Dimension
- As defined for this job level in the Delegation of Authority and/or approved budget.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree in an Engineering discipline.
Knowledge and/or Experience
- 15 years' experience preferably within the Oil & Gas industry, of which 10 years' operating at a senior project engineering management level with overall responsibility for engineering execution.
- Broad and extensive knowledge of engineering design standards, specifications, codes and appropriate safety criteria.
- Broad knowledge of offshore and onshore facilities design, construction and operations, with an in-depth knowledge of one or more of the following engineering areas: material & corrosion, piping or mechanical engineering.
- Broad knowledge of engineering administration.
Technical and Business Skills
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational, planning and interface skills.
- Strong leadership, influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, Lotus notes etc.
