Part A: Job Specification


Job Purpose


  • Lead the Engineering of a digital delivery structure and data management tools for Compression Project, ensuring project deliverables are standardized, seamlessly tracked, and archived. Ensure that databases and documents fully comply with project requirements and are digitally delivered to the highest standards.



  • Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

    • This role requires robust coordination skills to maintain multiple parallel EPCs synchronized to ensure standardization in the deliverables coupled with full understanding of the latest Digitalization technologies.
    • Required to contribute to other multi-disciplinary tasks whilst providing expertise in specialised area




    Key Job Accountabilities (Max 10, each unique, exclude generic)



  • Lead Compression Project (cooperatively with multiple EPC Digital Execution Managers and DSI) in the establishment and maintenance of digitally minded project execution teams. Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, project specifications and approved variations if any.


  • Support multiple EPC Contractor's teams in data governance, data quality, data analytics, and project reporting efforts.


  • Support Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, HSE, Completions, Project Controls, and other functions in executing with a lean team, making faster and better decisions, maximizing labour productivity.


  • Prepare plans and work schedules that ensure effective completion of project activities and provide data (reports, charts, graphs), recommendations and recovery plans to address any schedule delays for monthly progress and stewardship reporting.


  • Support contractors and supplier configuration of data management tools to support effective delivery of data through the project lifecycle.


  • Advise and supply guidance to contractor ensuring their capability in providing all contract documents, progress and reporting measures and recommend additional technical support to address gaps.


  • Execute and provide status of project tracking and archiving of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle (recording revisions, revision purposes, distribution, and transmittal histories) in accordance with project requirements.


  • Plan and schedule discipline Surveillance of deliverables to enable efficient project execution.


  • Maintain the project reference data libraries for each data-oriented applications - ensuring maximum alignment to specified data structures and reference data library.


  • Participate in sharing lessons learned from previous and other EPC projects, together with capturing current lessons learned to support future project and review teams.

  • Part B: Person Specification - Minimum Requirements


    Qualifications

    • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.

    Knowledge and/or Experience

    • 10 years' experience in IT, Systems Administration, and related fields with minimum 4 years in role on major capital projects.
    • Skills in Data management and modelling - maintains and tests architectures to support multiple phases of the project (including Digital Twins, and Contractor's Engineering Data Warehouse, Oracle, SQL etc).
    • Systems integration - integrates disparate systems to extract the most value from the assets.
    • Extract, Transform and Load - properly prepare data for consumption.
    • Data Analytics - ability to consume multiple sources of data to provide the right product, service, or recommendations to end user.

    • Excellent written and oral English skills.
    • Strong organisational, planning and coordination skills.
    • Strong technical, prioritisation and management skills.
    • Strong communication, influencing and interface skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, Lotus Notes, etc.
