Communication Lead

Job Purpose
* To develop, lead, and deliver integrated strategic communication initiatives across digital, visual, and operational environments, supporting both onshore and offshore projects. The role is responsible for overseeing the review, governance, and approval of all external communication and media materials, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and project objectives. It requires advanced expertise in AI-driven video production, professional on- site filming (including RLIC, offshore, and operational facilities), and high- quality English written communication, combined with strong visual storytelling capabilities to enhance execution visibility, reinforce safety messaging, and strengthen stakeholder engagement.
Reporting and Relationships
* Reports to the Project Support Division Manager.
* Direct reports: None (Total Headcount: 0).
Internal
* Regular contact with MP and NFPS Department Managers and Project Managers.
* Regular contact with the Worker Welfare and SHES teams.
* Regular contact with the Public Affairs and legal departments

* Regular contact with media and film agencies
* Contact with RLIC and other government entities to acquire permits
* Contact with EPC Contractors and sub-contractors, via PMT
Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
* Deliver clear, engaging communication across multiple media channels such as project publications (brochures, newsletters and magazines), visibility reports, press releases, etc.
* Generate new ideas and communication and branding strategies to promote all projects under MP & NFPS.
* Operates in onshore and offshore projects environment, working with internal external stakeholders under strict safety and compliance requirements.

Key Job Accountabilities
1. Lead and oversee communication activities across onshore and offshore environments, including workforce interviews, visual documentation, operational updates, and SHES and welfare-related communication to support transparency, engagement, and safety awareness.
2. Lead the review, governance, and approval of all external communication materials, including press releases, media statements, interviews, announcements, and visual media, ensuring alignment with corporate communication standards and close coordination with Corporate Communications and PR functions.
3. Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end visual coverage of project execution, including scripting, filming, photography, media documentation, and field reporting across Ras Laffan Industrial City, international fabrication yards, Doha office facilities, other industrial sites, and offshore locations, in full compliance with safety, security, and site regulations. This includes coordination of permits, schedules, access requirements, and operational approvals.
4. Lead the development and delivery of AI-enhanced media content for project and corporate communication purposes, leveraging AI tools for video creation, editing, animation, subtitles, and content optimization while ensuring technical accuracy, data integrity, and strict adherence to corporate brand and governance controls.
5. Develop, curate, manage, and maintain multimedia content for internal and external communications, executive presentations, campaigns, digital platforms, and SharePoint-based communication repositories, ensuring structured organization, version control, accessibility, and long-term knowledge retention.
6. Coordinate closely with onshore and offshore project teams to ensure communication content accurately reflects operational realities, construction progress, safety requirements, and workforce conditions.
7. Translate complex technical, industrial, and offshore processes into clear, structured, and compelling visual and written communication tailored to diverse stakeholder audiences.
8. Ensure consistency of messaging, tone, and visual identity across all communication materials, channels, platforms, and SharePoint sites, in line with corporate communication, branding, and information management standards.
9. Prepare and maintain communication reports, media summaries, visual documentation, and SharePoint content dashboards related to onshore and offshore activities to support management reporting, audits, and stakeholder engagement.
10. Support executives and project management teams with communication planning and execution.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Media Communications, other media degrees, English Literature or Business Administration.
Knowledge and/or Experience
* 8 years' experience in Public Relations including at least 5 years' experience in Media.
Technical and Business Skills
* Highest level of spoken and written English skills.
* Experienced in developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven video
* Professional on-site filming (onshore and offshore)
* Proven experience writing articles and publications in English
* Experienced in Visual storytelling
