Commissioning Specialist (Electrical)

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience

* Minimum 8 years of experience in Electrical Commissioning with at least 3 years in a PMT or supervisory role in Oil & Gas large scale onshore and offshore projects. In depth knowledge of Electrical systems and Equipment such as MV/LV Switchgear, MCC, UPS, Transformers, Electrical protection and interlocks among others.

* Background in Offshore platforms, topsides, is desirable.

Technical and Business Skills

* A strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures in a site environment

* Strong decision making and prioritization skills under pressuretechnical, analytical, and interface skills.

* Ability to adapt to tight deadlines and heavy workloads.

* Strong technical expertise in commissioning and testing of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and ensuring compliance with standars and HSE requirements.

* Ability to review, approve and manage commissioning plans and checklists.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with system completion management systems (Hexagon and/or WinPCs is a plus).
