Job Description - Brownfield Production Coordinator
Job Purpose * Coordinate through functional leadership within the Offshore group, to ensure
safe, effective, efficient, and reliable Brownfield execution work associated with both Wellhead Platform (WHP) and Riser Platform (RP). Provide support to Brownfield Execution Teams in accordance with company policies and procedures, including the implementation and administration of the permit to work system, and assisting the team with isolation and associated zero energy preparation/execution activities.
Reporting and Relationships
* Reports to OESS Head of Production Brownfield.
* Direct reports: nil
Internal
* Frequent contact with Brownfield Interface Operations Supervisor, PMT Brownfield execution teams as well as operation / maintenance technicians.
External
* Frequent contact with CTR Brownfield execution teams
* Periodic contact with vendors.
Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
* Key member of the Offshore Incident Response team.
* Provide administrative control for the implementation and compliance of offshore personnel to the company permit to work system (PTW).
* Major challenge is ensuring both the safety and integrity of the work party, during Brownfield execution and emergency situations.
* Supporting teams during Brownfield Offshore execution activities. This may involve extended periods staying onboard JUB or support vessels.
* The position holder requires a strong cultural awareness with adaptability to multinational environment and wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
* Work a 28/28-day rotation sequence, within a 12-hour shift cycle in offshore with presence in an outdoor work environment, working at high elevation, with physical duties covering a wide range of facilities.

Key Job Accountabilities
1. Act in a designated Emergency Response role during incidents with responsibility for supporting the coordination, emergency mustering, search and rescue and shelter in place or evacuation of the facility under direction from the Incident Commander.
2. Administratively support the implementation of the company permit to work system. Support the Brownfield Execution at Offshore, by providing oversight to execution teams ensuring appropriate PTW preparation.
3. Act as single point of contact offshore for all PTW related execution activities and be the primary interface between Operations and the Brownfield execution Party for PTW related issues. Support all type of PTW audits and implement the recommendations within the stipulated period.
4. Support the securement of operational equipment to prepare OESS teams for facility shutdown and zero energy activity readiness. Assist in the execution of facility shutdown, isolation and zero energy demonstration activities (closing/opening valves, draining and depressurizing, N2 purge, LOTO isolation, leak/pressure testing, etc) of equipment to allow for safe handover of facility to contractor (CTR) to execute Brownfield work.
5. Lead daily permit to work coordination meeting, update and circulate list of next day's/week's planned work activities with relative order and priority. Keep up-to-date daily register of PTW's, supplementary certificates, audits, and performance statistics.
6. Communicate with Brownfield Operations Supervisor on next day's permits for authorization ensuring no conflicts with any relevant (new) standing Instructions or operational situations.
7. Assist in the review of WHP and/or riser platform BF execution procedures and practices and makes recommendations for amendments and improvements. Oversee adherence to all EHS&Q policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard company personnel and assets.
8. Support the coordination of activities on-board (including SIMOPS activities) ensuring efficient and timely completion of work and all activities are completed safely as per the planned schedule.
9. Support execution of leak test and deisolation as well as the safe restart of facilities post completion of Brownfield work as applicable.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
* Higher National Diploma (HND) in an Engineering discipline.
Knowledge and/or Experience
* 8 years diversified Oil and Gas or Chemical Industry experience within Engineering, Operations or Maintenance in which 5 years at a supervisory level.
* 3 years DCS process panel operator experience.
Technical and Business Skills
* Leadership & team skills. * Able to work under pressure, with the ability to function and react
in a high stress environment whilst being able to make clear and rational decisions.
* Analytical skills, able to undertake troubleshooting of an advanced nature in the DCS and Process arena, including cause and effect.
* Good computer skills, SAP, and Microsoft applications.
* Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English, whilst being experienced in working and communicating within a multi-national workforce.
