Transportation & Installation Lead

Job Purpose
* To lead and supervise pipeline pre-commissioning activities of green & brown field projects related to pipelines, spools, installation, Tie-in, spools, riser operations including flooding, cleaning, gauging, hydrostatic testing, inline inspection, dewatering and nitrogen purging.
* To lead Offshore de-commissioning scope of existing live pipelines, chair risk screenings, Formal risk assessment with all stakeholders and obtain approvals for decommissioning of pipelines
* To follow up on procedures and drawings for pipeline pre-commissioning and decommissioning and approvals from all stake holders.
* Lead and monitor CTR marine vessel mobilization for offshore execution.
* Offshore based with CPY site team onboard MSV or DSV during offshore execution of pipeline pre-commissioning and decommissioning activities.
* Develop reports and review Contractor, checklists, punch lists.
* Coordinate with T&I PMT and operations for day-to-day activities at site and obtain approvals for operations.
* Ensure quality execution onboard vessels and JUBs.
* Ensure safe subsea decommissioning using technical plugs or other de commissioning tools.

Key Job Accountabilities
1. Manage Contractors full pipeline pre commissioning and decommissioning scope from
engineering planning through offshore execution and closeout.
2. Review and approve contractors pre commissioning and decommissioning philosophies,
execution strategies, and method statements.
3. Coordinate activities related to pipeline pre-commissioning and decommissioning such as
Flooding, Cleaning, Gauging, Hydrotesting, Dewatering, Drying and N2 purging whereas for
de-commissioning - Pipeline isolation, Depressurization, Flushing, Cleaning, Subsea Pipeline
cutting, Pipeline recovery, Abandonment in place, Grouting or capping, Spool removal,
Subsea tie-in disconnection.
4. Review contractors engineering calculations for Hydrotest pressure, Test duration, Fill
volumes, Pig train configuration, Dewatering flow rates, Drying acceptance criteria, Nitrogen
requirements, Compressor capacity, Pump sizing, Temporary equipment requirements
5. Support engineering teams in defining decommissioning boundaries, pipeline status,
contents, and isolation requirements.
6. Ensure contractor's pre commissioning and decommissioning activities are planned in line
with SIMOPS, HSE, environmental, and marine requirements.
7. Coordinate with contractor, offshore operations, offshore VMT, diving, ROV, marine, and
HSE teams for safe execution.
8. Manage punch lists, technical queries, site queries, and non-conformances related to
pipeline pre-commissioning and de commissioning.
9. Act as the office-based focal point for offshore pipeline decommissioning and pre-
commissioning activities and support offshore teams with technical guidance,
troubleshooting, and decision-making during execution.
10. Provide technical support for offshore changes, deviations, unexpected field conditions and
formulating recovery plans including Management of Change
Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in engineering in mechanical engineering or subsea engineering.
Knowledge and/or Experience
* 8 years offshore installation experience on vessels in Transport & Installation activities with minimum 1 years as supervisory role in related field.
* 5 years experience as Field Engineer or site supervisor onboard installation vessels for similar activities with emphasis on de- commissioning of subsea facilities.
* Previous work experience with other major operators or and knowledge of PTW systems is desirable but not mandatory.
* Extensive Knowledge in subsea pipeline pre commissioning and de commissioning, pipeline pigging, subsea isolation plugs, subsea decommissioning tools.
* Demonstrate extensive experience on pre-commissioning vessel supervision and Familiarity with international standards such as DNV- ST-F101, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, API standards, ISO pipeline and offshore standards, any Client-specific offshore standard
* Expertise in submarine pipeline decommissioning, including the use of technical plugs (e.g., STATS company isolation plugs) for safe isolation and abandonment.
