Transportation & Installation Lead (COMP4 CP Float- Over)

Job Purpose

* Project Management Team (PMT) member responsible for execution of various fixed facilities Transportation and Float-Over Installation (T&I) operations including Compression Platform and Living Quarter Topsides.

Reporting and Relationships

* Reports to Head of Transportation & Installation (Execution)

* Direct reports: Installation Coordinator

Internal

* Frequent contact with various project teams and departments (Marine, Lifting, Operations)

External

* Frequent contact with EPCI Contractor/subcontractors, MWS, Classification Society and project stakeholders at site.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

* Supervise EPCI Contractor activities related to review of T&I engineering deliverables, execution planning and preparation, procedures development, vessels and equipment preparation, inspection, surveys, testing approval and mobilization for loadout, seafastening, transportation, mooring and installation.

* Very large compression platforms and living quarters platforms topsides fabricated in Oman and India, loaded out at various fabrication yards, transported to Middle East onboard heavy transport vessels and barges and installed by float-over method on pre-installed jackets

1. Ensure marine operations are executed safely and in compliance with contract agreement, industry standards and best practices.

2. Liaise with Vessel Management Team (VMT) on the status, ongoing and planned activities, highlighting issues and recommending mitigations.

3. Lead for T&I execution planning for procedure development and readiness-to-proceed (RTP) including constructability reviews, risk assessments, installation readiness reviews

4. Ensure communication and alignment across supporting functions and other impacted projects, MP Technical - Marine, OPCO for efficient offshore operations execution.

5. Participate in project execution planning to ensure delivery in accordance with Contract milestones.

6. Consolidate T&I deliverables review to assure compliance with Company specifications and standards.

7. Coordinate with offshore team for timely reporting of work performed to ensure that scope is completed as per Contract.

8. Facilitate readiness reviews to ensure timely vessels surveys, inspections and mobilization.

9. Report and follow up on incidents, including participating in incident investigation as needed, to ensure root cause analyses and lessons learnt are accurately recorded and presented for future implementation.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or Engineering

Knowledge and/or Experience

* 8 years' experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel

* Experience in offshore construction as methods and field engineer or similar role, on transportation and installation of fixed facilities including transportation, float-over installations and heavy lifting operations. Float-over experience is essential. DP float-over experience will be held in high regard

Technical and Business Skills

* Good communication and interpersonal relationships, coordination and interfacing skills.
