Welfare Lead


JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose


The job purpose is to lead and support welfare and Safety Communication programs across all Projects. This includes fostering a positive safety culture, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with HSE standards. The role also involves effective communication and promoting worker well-being and competency.

Qualifications


* Bachelors degree in sciences, safety, health, environment, security, or engineering, or

* NEBOSH National/International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, SHES related NVQ level 5, or British Safety Council Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health

Knowledge and/or Experience

* 8 years experience in SHES (Worker Welfare) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.

Technical and Business Skills

* Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.

* Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.

* Knowledge of relevant SHES (Workder Welfare) management systems and programs.
