Sr Shutdown Support Coordinator


JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose


 The Shutdown Support Sr. Coordinator is responsible for the Project shutdown deliverables schedule and planning to meet Shutdown Management System and all aspects of the Progress Measurement System. This includes development, monitoring, and reporting in addition to ensuring that all required deliverables comply with Shutdown Management System and are delivered to the highest possible standards.

Reporting and Relationships

 Reports to Shutdown & BF Assurance Lead

 Direct reports: None

Internal

 Frequent contact with NFPS project management team and other departments.

 Regular contact with Operations, Offshore Expansion, Sustainability & SU, SHEQ teams.

External

 Regular contact with contractors.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

 This position requires the flexibility and ability to support the project team to meet shutdown requirements and secure gatekeeper approval for each gate.

 To understand the key project drivers to ensure delivery of shutdown requirements as per Shutdown Management System within the agreed timeframe.

 To deliver the NFPS Compression SDMS deliverables for each gate and ensure compliance to procedure.

 To identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.

 Major challenges are time management to carry out various activities and/or assessments related to schedule, progress measurement and change management.

 Ensures highest level of Project Management Team satisfaction by providing, within corporate standards, quality services and amenities.

Key Job Accountabilities

1. Reviews project changes to evaluate detail schedule impact; responsible for quantifying and incorporating the effect and impact of approved changes in the SDMS dates.

2. Advises project management of any potential schedule issues and when necessary, provides guidance on corrective action and measures to mitigate any adverse trends.

3. Conducts periodic meetings with the Contractor to review progress/activities and report on the status of the project to management.

4. Supports Project Management with ongoing project schedule and progress analysis, reporting and forecasting activities.

5. Maintains responsibility for the coordination of all Shutdown Management System deliverables and make sure deadlines are met.

6. Support PMTs and Contractors to deliver as per Shutdown Management System to achieve full compliance.

7. To track gate deliverables progress related to Shutdown Project Execution activities, in close relation with the NFPS PMT.

8. Prepare monthly progress report on the SDMS deliverables. 9. Establish and maintains detailed schedule and planning as per Shutdown Management

System. 10. Participates in the shutdown meetings, workshops, site visit to fabrication yards.


Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business administration, Business Management, Construction Management or Project Management.

Knowledge and/or Experience

 8 years of experience with at least 4 years broad experience in Planning and scheduling of major projects, including at least two years involvement in the shutdown execution.

 Experience developing work methods and form several alternative methods in accordance to established Company policies, directives from Management, schedules and professional engineering standards.

Technical and Business Skills

 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact with Operations and PMTs confidently.

 Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.

 Undertakes complex tasks and acts as a source of guidance for staff and internal customers. Is expected to handle all but the most complex problems and difficulties that might arise.

 Takes initiatives, based on experienced gained, to deliver timely and cost effective service.

 Sets situations/issues in the context of the entire team and has an appreciation of the wider relationships with other people and organizations.

 Works independently within established procedures, plans and budgets and contributes to the development of these.

 Has autonomy over scheduling and planning of own work; organizes efforts of work group to achieve overall efficiency.
