Job Specification

Job Purpose

  • Provide SHES direction, guidance and leadership to NFXP Onshore PMT and CONTRACTOR(s) across all EPC Packages within the assigned area.
  • Perform oversight of NFXP Onshore SHES performance and continual improvement process to ensure compliance with all Project requirements.
  • Support PMT SHES teams in all EPC packages in the implementation and verification of the NFXP Onshore and EPC CONTRACTOR SHES Plans and Procedures through systematic management system reviews and audits.
  • Support the NFXP Onshore EPC CONTRACTORS and provide expert advice and guidance on SHES audit, performance measuring and continual improvement to all PMT and CONTRACTOR personnel at all levels of the organisation, and during all phases of the Project.
  • Supports the SHES Audit Lead in evaluating and continually improving the SHES Performance Excellence elements of the PMT and CONTRACTOR SHES management systems, and the effective implementation of SHES plans and procedures at site in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the Contract SHES Instructions Part 1 to 5, and CONTRACTOR's SHES plans and Procedures.

Key Accountabilities

(Duties include but not limited to)

  • Supports the NFXP Onshore project in all SHES related disciplines and scope of work but with specific SHES focus on management system evaluations, performance monitoring, contractual compliance, and continual improvement.
  • Supports the SHE Audit Lead Shared Resources as the key focal point for the overall project SHES Audits.
  • Provides oversight of EPC CONTRACTORS and Subcontractors SHES management systems and carries out periodic compliance, procedure and system audits to ensure compliance with relevant project and RLIC procedures and requirements.
  • Lead and support SHES audits relevant to the project SHES performance Excelence programs, and participates in PMT and CONTRACTOR SHES assurance activities as required.
  • Monitor site SHES programs and safe work practices, and review and evaluate data, information and systems as required, related to findings from audits.
  • Coordinates with SHES Auit Lead in terms of systematic improvement opportunities and possible updates required for the overall SHES Management Systems.
  • Develops, implements and maintains audit related documentation, and reviews relevant CONTRACTOR and Subcontractor documentation, as required.
  • Maintains an overall Project audit action tracking register with support of relevant EPC package PMTs and identifies concerning trends and lessons learned.
  • Attends Toolbox Talks and Task Instructions where required, provides coaching and leadership to CONTRACTORS and its Subcontractors to ensure SHES procedures and systems are fully understood by all.
  • Provides coaching and mentorship for the PMT SHES Auditors if and when required.
  • Plan and coordinate ad-hoc audits on CONTRACTOR and Subcontractor SHES management systems in response to specific performance concerns.
  • Oversees the EPC Package PMT audit process, participates in audits lead by CONTRACTOR auditors, and oversees the timely follow-up, implementation and closeout of corrective actions thereof.

Reporting and Relationships

Reports to: SHES Auit Lead (Shared Resources)

  • Contact with various NFXP Onshore PMT project teams and departments on issues relating to the position.
