Rotating Equipment Lead

Job Purpose

 Lead the execution oversight and hook-up of the offshore rotating equipment on site encompassing major equipment such as gas turbines, generators, compressors, and pumps. To ensure the highest level of safety and compliance during execution.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

 Execution in an offshore environment, to have oversight in execution, clean build where required, and address issues and escalate as required to the CPY equipment subject matter expert, present options and assist management in making timely decisions to ensure project objectives are achieved, timely.

 Regular review of job card / task completion to ensure close out as per the execution schedule - flag gaps and challenges to management.

 Simultaneously supporting COMP2 brownfield work activities & shutdown planning where required.

Key Job Accountabilities

1. Accountable for offshore safety to promote a safe work environment

2. Accountable for offshore quality to support flawless delivery and start-up

3. Stewarding and facilitating CTR to deliver safely and as per schedule

4. PMT offshore focal point for mechanical / rotating machinery TQs

5. Support PTW and offshore daily progress and PTW meetings with CTR

6. Support offshore HU Head as required

7. Attend HU meetings / document reviews / risk assessments etc as required

Qualifications

 Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience

8 years experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
