Mechanical Engineering Lead (Static Equipment)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications * Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering

Knowledge and/or Experience

* 8 years' experience in Engineering roles specially in Mechanical Equipment discipline, including 4 years in the Oil & Gas Industry, at least 3 years in offshore and including 1 years' experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/sub- contractors/service/vendor personnel.

* Primary specialization in Static Equipment design development with knowledge on equipment packages and rotating equipment.

* In-depth understanding of various equipment design Codes and Standards

* Previous Brownfield and Greenfield engineering and execution knowledge in both Offshore and Onshore areas.

* Proven working experience with relevant international standards, in particular ASME Sec VIII Div.1 & 2, API, UL, NFPA, etc.

* Added advantage if possess past experience with equipment fabricator / manufacturer

* Experience with EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry

* Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds
