Job Specification

Job Purpose

• Provide Company representation in Supervises and coordinates construction activities at the Contractor fabrication yards Perform as Subject Matter Expert and as Technical Authority in Machinery control area.

Reporting and Relationships - I

• Reports to Lead of Control Systems Eng. Support/ Lead of Control Systems Engineering.
• Direct Reports: None.

Internal

• Frequent Contact with other Engineering disciplines, Projects, Operations Onshore and Offshore, IT, Supply and Maintenance departments.

External

• Frequent contact with vendors and contractors.

Key Job Accountabilities - I

• Provide a variety of machinery control system engineering support to contribute to the division strategy and goals. That includes design reviews, studies, failure analysis and advanced troubleshooting.
• Define and document surveillance and administration programs for critical Control Systems to achieve high standards of reliability, availability, and cyber security.
• Define and document best practices within the area of expertise and recommend performance improvement initiatives.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert and/or as Technical Authority in area of specialization.
• Manage plans and work schedules to ensure effective completion of tasks and activities, meeting the section and division KPIs.
• Provide technical input related to area of expertise to other disciplines and functions as per requirements to support their business objectives.

• Control and supervise the activities undertaken by contractors, consultants, and service providers.
• Guide less experienced engineers in implementing the company integrity and reliability systems.
• Define Competency development plan and mentor National Developees to develop their capabilities and their knowledge.

Minimum Requirement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience - I

• 10 years' experience in an oil and gas environment.
• Experience in Turbo Machinery control Applications such as from GE, CCC or Triconex.
• Knowledgeable of relevant international standards such as IEC, ANSI/ISA and API RP and their application is necessary.

Knowledge and/or Experience - II

Technical and Business Skills - I

• Fluent in English language (demonstrated verbal and written skills).
• Computer literate, and competent with a variety of engineering software tools.
