Business Administrator


Job Purpose

 Provides complete administrative, reporting service and supporting

post award contracts adhering to department process and procedures.

Reporting and Relationships

 Reports to Head of Projects Controls/Division Manager.

Internal  Frequent contact with Engineering & Projects, Finance, and other

department focal points. External  Occasional contact with internal/external contractors.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

 Work with multiple customers including department secretaries,

internal contractors related to business process.  Provide support to multiple business areas on timely basis.  Works independently within agreed work practices and contributes to

improvement and streamline business processes.

Financial Dimension  As defined for this job level in the Delegation Authority and/or approved budget.

 Ensure all activities undertaken comply with anti - trust and

competition laws and the Company firewall policies and procedures.

Key Job Accountabilities

 Review databases in order to maintain reliability, accuracy and quality and ensures reliability of information gathered for the databases.

 Maintain, organise, analyse, update and retrieve data from SAP, appropriate data files and update records accordingly in SAP and/or other corporate systems.

 Ensure the verification and validation of Vendor field/service tickets and associated charges

 Support post award contracts for the department ensuring documentation control is aligned to Company standards.

 Prepare data of complex nature in order to generate required reports and presentation.

 Perform information processing and resolve problems proactively to ensure business continuity. Responsible as a point of reference related to business process, precedence, practices and techniques ensuring department efficiency is achieved.

 Develop and or Maintain Data Management System for the Project team pertaining to Technical, Contractual data, Organisation related data with emphasis on criticality and sensitivity.

 Provide technical assistance to Division Manager and act as a focal point for entire Division.

Person Specification - Minimum Requirements


 Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration/Accounting.

Knowledge and/or Experience

 5 years' experience within oil and gas industry.

Technical and Business Skills  Proficient in written and spoken English.  Excellent computer literacy, with high proficiency in MS Word,

Excel, Power Point, Outlook, MS Access, Data management system and SAP.
